If you want to watch 3 casters, do you set up 3 feeds?

I was away for 2 days last week and when I got back to a computer 3 pages of casts had been added. This means I might miss stuff as I rarely go back over more than 2 or 3 pages (I would have had no idea Mickey had completed the Lonesome Junkies collab if he had not emailed me).

How about adding a feature that simply lists 'New Casts' this week, or maybe even a streaming feature that has them running constantly across a part of the screen.

I'm drowning guys.....!!!! Sure it's a good way to go......but.......help, even junkies only have so many hours in a day......:)

Yeah. Agree. Even some simple "sort by" options would be nice.. Sort by date, caster name, song name, etc.. show last 50 or whatever.

Cheers

You would set up 3 feeds, and then put the 3 feeds into a single folder, which you can read. Note these don't appear sorted by time, but I think they actually are based on when the feed was read in. New riffcasts should end up appearing at the top as they come in, from whomever is in your list.

Just to prove my theory on the RiffCast list by date instead of by artist:

This should solve the problem...unless of course you have way too many favorite RiffCast artists (like me), in which case you are terminally sunk! ;)

Is it worth putting together a little tutorial on how to build your own custom RiffCast feeder with Google?

Funny how I ready that twice and missed the "Free" part! That buy word seems to grab my attention ;)

That program would appear to solve the problem nicely as well :)

JJ, I'm using the google reader and it is nice to be able to subscribe to the page in RiffWorld that I am currently viewing. This will work for me for now. Thanks so much.

Not sure about the tutorial. If I figured out how to create folders and subscribe, then I figure most anyone can.

Yes it turns out to be pretty simple, once we know where to look!

One of the things I did was set up the Google reader thing, then set up an iGoogle page as my start page with all my normal stuff (stocks, news, weather etc). and a Google reader widget so I can see new casts and new posts on my forum automatically.

Thanks cwight for making me curious enough to go figure out how to do this...so much cool stuff us old folks aren't aware of ;)
