I guess I'll find out in due course, but is there a way to install RiffWorks without the amp sims?

Only one way to install mate, as far as I'm aware there aren't any custom options :)
No-one remembers what you do or say. Everyone remembers how you made them feel. Allegedly !!!!

Amplitube is a separate download from the Sonoma store so if you don't want it ....don't download and install it.....plain and simple...........but I don't know why you wouldn't like to have it.....and if you have it installed you don't have to turn it on......so it won't affect your recordings.........or as another option, you can buy the Line 6 version which doesn't have that option but IS tied to it's Line 6 device .....

I have Amplitube 2, Amplitube Jimi Hendrix, Amplitube Metal, Ampeg SVX, Revalver III and Studio Devil Virtual Guitar Amp. So I don't have any need for the light versions. And I just wanted to avoid the extra install data.

Just don't install them then; easy.

Cool, so there is an option to deselect these during the installation. Thanks.

They don't install by default. They are a separate download and install so, you're in good shape :)

Yep, separate installs so you don't get options during the Riffworks install.
