I've downloaded studio devil and, in trying to locate it as an amp plug-in, I tried to locate a plug-in path and in doing so I've lost all my other amps in the drop down amp menu, and have failed to locate Studio Devil.

Studio Devil is downloaded, un-zipped and installed in the default location.

I've tried to refresh amp plug-ins but I get a message saying I need to select an amp first. I can't select an amp first because there isn't one there to select!

I've been using Line 6 Toneport GX as an audio interface and I've also used the Amplitude 2 and X Gear plug-ins.

How can I get Riffworks to re-locate the Amplitude plug-ins?

Finally how do I get Riffworks to recognise / locate Studio Devil as a plug in?

I try to put all my VST's in the same directory, that way things stay nice and tidy. Most programs, when installed, ask where tp put the VST plugins and I usually stick them in C:program filesVST

Do a file search for AmpliTube2live.dll and when you find it, point Riffworks to that path. Or, you can always move the dll files (which are the plugins) to a central folder somewhere and point RW in that direction.

Thanks Dave. I've managed to get studio devil working but, having moved the IK Mutimedia files for Amplitude 2 and x-gear into the plugins folder, they still don't appear in the amp drop down menu when I re-set the plug-in path. I've tried moving the whole IK Multinedia folder into plugins and also the individual Amplitude 2 and x-gear folders into plugins, but with no success.
