Hi guys,

newbie here again lol

Once a song has been laid down in riffworks is there any way i can remove the excess drums at the end e.g song lasts for 80 bars say yet there are 90 bars of drums - is it possible to cut these 10 bars out?

All the best
J

If you are recording just using 1 song layer with all your riffs in it then No!...Your song
will finish at the end of the 80th bar and the drums will keep playin till the end of the song. You could probably use Audacity on your final mix and fade out the last 10 bars of drums on your song.I myself don't use it. The best guy for advice on Audacity on here is Mickeymix....He'll put you right with all that stuff.Hope this helps!!.

Cheers......Ian.

hi dokken,
if it's 1 riff of 80 bars, no, not within riff works. unless you had "mixed to riff" the drums before you started recording other guitars and such.

but you can do it in "audacity" or another app. audacity is good and it's free.
it's a good idea to learn to use it if you have no other app. it comes in handy for me alot.
