well, whatever you do, DO NOT uninstall AVG, that is my recommendation.
I'm on another build, a more recent 'puter w/o RW or AVG. I have two other computers and they are acting the same way with identically the same problems.
(.bin file missing on AVG, RW looping out upon Rifflink uploading.)

The computer which I have uninstalled AVG is now BSOD all the time with a windows error on the F drive, which is related to the uninstall of AVG. This also happens to be the same drive I have alot of songs on which I have not backed up as I don't use that system online all the time. My Dell is also showing the same symtoms but at least it is able to go into Windows as I have not uninstalled AVG.

Sig, a log file is like a bunch of info relating to the programs last running in notepad format. Some of it will make sense and some of it won't unless you know how to decipher it.

I was just thinking, Windows had a bunch of updates happening in the past day or two.
These problems may be related to a security or other update in the download.

I would run dskchk or file checker if you are having problems with your OS.
I started to develope a whole series of errors after uninstalling AVG and then running Adware 2008. Like I said, it'll BSOD everytime, relating it to the antivirus in the message. I have the BSOD numbers too-took em down this time.

At this point, it looks like I'll have to take the drive out and check it/fix it on another system just to get the dskchk to run. I'm not able to boot into any safe mode and Dos isn't looking doable either. I figure the data is still there..windows is just safeguarding itself at this point and I'm in another loop.

We found the problem with the RiffLink login, and it is fixed. Ready, set, collab!

Thanks,
Michelle
