when i downoaded t4 it couldt open, its file type couldnt be recognized, can some1 plz tell me why??

Did the download complete? Did you download the right version for the operating system you have? You use Windows or Mac OS? You need to download the right version - if you did, then re-download it as the downloaded file may be corrupted somehow.

I have exactly the same problem, I did the download five or six times (for Windows), and I get an unknown file each time...I hav no problem whatsoever with other downloads.

I remember this happening quite a while back for one or two people and one solution was to change browsers. If you're using IE, try Firefox or Chrome and let us know if the problem still exists.
