I just purchased ReValver MK3 and it seems not to be working with RW!

To the developers:: At least make the major guitar amp sims work with RW!!!

I found a way around with the usual multiFX Chainer though, but still...

Easy now fella.......lol No need to come in here guns a blazin :)

No ReValver does not work as it is not currently supported....but I am sure Sonoma will address that soon. For the record maybe you should have checked to make sure the sim worked with RW before you purchased it.

Seriously though, a bummer I know as I too tried to get it working a while back, but alas it was not meant to be.

I would have purchased ReValver anyways, as I find it great -- really tight guitar sound (and I own both Amplitude 2/Metal/Jimmy Hendrix and Guitar Rig 3), regardless of whether it would work with RW...

Besides, one can almost for sure can find a way around using a VST chainer or something similar.

BTW, some reviews and commercial sites point out that it works with ReValver (like this one http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/win/66726), but it might be just a mistake. Anyways...

I agree I think Revavler is awesome.....but the amplitube Metal pack does a better job on the 5150 model IMHO.

I would like to see it addressed in one of the upcoming updates, it was brought up in a few previous threads:

http://www.sonomawireworks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=5449

As you stated there are always "workarounds" but I have faith Sonoma will make it so you don't have to jump through to many hops to get it working with RWS.

If you get bored, check out Amplitube Metal as well......although it looks as if you already have your hands full with the other sim proggys :)

Garchev, I use Revalver HP with RW standard without a hitch, If you look at the third link that ShredRex posted, it will show how I got it to work on Mac Os X.5

Let us know if this works for you,

sry for off topic post,

but does the HP version allow you to load your own Impulse responses in its RIR?.

I was gonna buy it ,but held myself due to lack of information on what you can do and what not, i know it only includes peavey models though.

Atwalar,

No, you can not import your own impulses into the RIR. That being said, it is still the best amp sim for the price in my humble opinion, but this one of the reasons why many people choose to pay the extra $180 for the full version.
