How nice would it be to be able to mix to a new riff from within whatever riff you are working on?! This way, if you had a REX drum part or drums and bass or, whatever and wanted to mix it down to its own riff you wouldn't have to use the song timeline!

This feature would eliminate the need to pull down all of the riffs from the song timeline only to put one up, mix to riff and then have to rebuild the song. HUGE pita doing that!

Any thoughts? Can we do it??

I use the import and export buttons in riffworks to mix to riff simply save your song first then click on the riff or riffs you want to mix and export them you may have to create a folder to save in I dont remember. Then close your song and open a new untitled song, import your riffs in to that, put your riffs in the empty song time line as you want them and mix to riff. Export the bounce riff to your folder. Re open your current song and import it back in. Now you have a mix to riff without taking your song all apart. I also hate taking my whole song off of the timeline to mix so I figured out how to do it in another session buy the way this is a must if you have a songlayers riff going. Riffworks crashes on me if I take all my riffs down with a songlayers riff on top of it.
