Hi
Might seem like a daft question but I've just bought & downloaded Riffworks from line 6 website but there is no evidence whatsoever of where it is on my PC or how to get it to run. I enabled the key with Line6 Monkey. However Riffworks doesn't show anywhere on my Line6 Gearbox consol or in my PC programme list !
There appears to be no user manual for it on the line6 website.
Any ideas ?
Thanks

Might be a silly question, but having downloaded it, have you installed it?

No once you have downloaded the file you have to install the programme. You have to locate where you downloaded the file to then run it. Find out the folder you downloaded the file to, then locate the setup file and run it. That will install the programme on your machine. It sounds to me like you have just downloaded the file and not installed it.

Thanks. I searched my C: drive to find the download then ran installation. Stupid the way it disapeares into an obscure folder rather than installs after download. Thanks again.

No software 'automatically' installs after downloaded and, if computers worked like that, we would all be crushed by the weight of viruses and malware we didn't actually want. Installation of any software is a process; first, you either stick in a disk with the installation files on it, or download it, which requires you making a note of where you download it to (you have a choice of where, sometimes in your web browser's options, or the download dialogue itself). Once downloaded, you find the installation file, double click on it and install it, following the prompts. Once installed, you can then fire it up via the shortcuts on the desktop or stat menu and register it that way.

Very few programs self-install, and rightly so; we need to have control of what goes onto our machines.
