I wanted to be able to play on my laptop too. So I Downloaded T4 on the laptop and made a different user name. I thought it will tell me that Homebiz4000 is taken. So I used Gary4000. When I save a copy of a song locally on the Laptop (Gary4000) It will only play back the drums and nothing else. Why?

I would like to have the same name on both computers, if that's allowed.
How would I change the laptop from Gary4000 to Homebiz4000 for both systems?

I think you'll need to delete the T4 then reinstall and use your normal user name and password to login. But do you only use the free version? You can have standard on 3 machines I think.....Well I have; home, work and my laptop....

I have the standard on my desktop with the great speaker system/home theater and large screen TV. Life was good. Since I'm now a full time riff junkie, I have to free up the room and TV before it wrecks my home..LOL
Ill try to add the standard to the laptop and delete T4.

It won't work. It comes up as Gary4000 after uninstall and re-install.

Don't ask me to explain but I'm sure you have to delete something in the registry to remove the username. You'd get a better response for this if you posted in the customer support forum as they monitor that one a lot more. Or do a support ticket even :)
No-one remembers what you do or say. Everyone remembers how you made them feel. Allegedly !!!!

You'd better email support directly about this one:
