Another new guy here. I've downloaded riffworks, and the tone port ux2 and all additional software. I've got the usb from toneport plugged up and it lights up and moves when i strum the guitar. Sonoma riffworks shows that its getting the guitar coming through. I do not hear the guitar, or drum beat. I have the volume up as high as it will go. Do you have to have monitors or head phones to hear what you are playing / recording. I'm new to this and not very good with computers so your patience and any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hi and welcome! The USB connection does not run the audio from the Toneport back into the computer, rather it uses the TP ASIO driver and audio playback must be routed back via the TP......you will need to connect headphones to the out on the TP, or connect speakers via the headphone out, or use the L/R outs on the back of the TP.

The way I used to get around this was to bypass my sound card completely, and plug my speakers or headphones directly into the tone port.

Hope that helps!
