Saving Projects

I have been using Riffworks since July But now when I save a copy of a colaboration to my computer it does not work there is a file saved but I get a error message" invalid format" when I try to open it. what has changed?

RiffWorks (the software) and RiffLink (the on-line collaboration) are really two separate things.
The former is on your computer and saves your work to hard drive.
The latter is on the Sonoma server and all work in any collaboration is automatically saved to the RiffLink server - not your computer.
If you save a collab to your computer, you're effectively taking a copy of the song from the RiffLink server.
