Audacity Question

I downloaded this software to help mix / edit my songs. The song plays perfect in riffworks, but when I import it to audacity it shows up but when I hit play it zooms through in about 5 seconds and sounds like chip munks. Any help? I imported the file that I saved from riffworks in my documents as an MP3 to audacity. Thanks

Audacity needs a LAME plugin to handle mp3 files (available from the Sounsdforge site)
Save your RiffWorks song out as a .wav or .ogg file by using the 'mix' function and then load it in to Audacity.

I think you need a lame encoder. MP3's are protected
