I had to give back my friends usb/midi-drums so I decided to see if i could use the midi-out on ghwt drum set.. after a bit of tampering i got it to work though limitedly..
here is the set up...

midi into tascam us122l... line out to gearbox.. load RW, and selected the free demo of fruity loops vst(btw the only thing disabled is saving in fruity loops so basically no limitation when ran through RW) in fruity loops select generic midi-controller set the channels 36 is the red drum, 34 blue can't remember the rest but you get the idea.. select ez drummer bam...lol

I am buying a usb drum set but this will get me by for now.. wife wanted something else and the kids got the ps3 with guitar hero world tour.. yes we already opened the stuff...

Actually everyone should down load the FREE fruity loops 8 demo for RW.. pretty much any vst you can't get to work through RW alone runs in the vst fruity loops..
So if you like want to run 40+ effects on your guitar or something you can do it this way. Also can run virtual instruments this way too.. There is just 1 rule shut down everything in fruity loops and change to another vst like amplitube before you switch songs or close RW because if you don't you will crash your sound card and freeze up your computer.. And I have even had to redownload my drivers because i forgot.

Hope this opens new doors for my riffjunkie brothers...

I have found atleast 10 different methods for doing this on the internet just google it..
I even got both drumsets to work simultaniously but was too lazy to program all the sounds for both..

So, where can we listen to your experiments? Sounds very interesting but of course, I'm not interested in crashing Riffworks more than I already do ;) :O
