To use it with RW you need to "wrap" the waves dll intoo a vst shell - use this free utility:
http://www.xlutop.com/buzz/zip/shell2vst.zip

just drag the shell2vst.exe onto the waveshell.dll....

It's not actually free though - you've gotta have one of those idiotic iLok hardware dongles which cost 40 bucks. They got some great tones out of it on the sound demos though.

thats weird I just ran it on my computer.. when it was installing it asked if I wanted to install this theft/piracy protection part and I said no. Runs just fine..It is an ok program but with gearbox, podfarm, guitar rig which are all way better in my opinion who needs it... Oh just a little note after I said no to installing the the anti-theft it crashed the installer but Gtr works great.. hehehe!!!!!!!!!!!

I avoid ALL software companies who require the iLok or any other dongle except Line 6. They got grandfathered in because they make hardware as their primary products. Plus, the Guitar Port looks sexy on my desktop :D

Waves is overpriced anyway. They need to get with the times and charge A LOT less before I'll take them seriously. How special can their plug-ins be that some of them cost thousands?! Pleeeeeeeeease

Many software companies (SWW included) are making plug-ins JUST as good as Waves for a WHOLE lot less money! Anyway, nobody who is listening to your music cares too much. Just make it loud and proud and they'll be back for more......ooooooh yeaaaaaah!!!
