Always open Riffworks 1st then Pod Farm some times between shutdowns an un/replug of your USB will reset the drivers.

Check the audio setup window as well and make sure your ASIO device (don't know what you're using) is showing up.

And getting blue screen IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL ......
at the bottom of the blue screen it says beginning dump of Physical memory ,pyhsical dump complete.. Something my OS (WIN XP) doesnt like about this new Toneport GX..?

I may try at microsoft to figure out what those errors mean and go from there...

Almost certainly a driver conflict. Are you running any other ASIO devices or do you have their drivers installed somewhere?
Use the Line6 Monkey to check your setup has all the most up to date drivers etc.
Cheers!

Well ,I reloaded Windows Xp ,all my existing stuff (riffworks files were not wrecked)and my dektop folders were mostly OK. So everything is working untill, the OS hibernates ..the BLUE screens come up.then I have to re boot ..

Usually get two to three blue screens Before it will usually go into Windows...
And the Podfarm and Riffworks loads fine ...
maybe i should not allow the PC to hibernate ,and just turn off the screen for power savings, and hopefully extending the life of my LCD screen on my Thinkpad T41 notebook....

Sure is a pain in the butt ,but when working I LOVE this riffworks and instant drummer!

I do have the bios update ,I think..

I will run the monkey again, in case its needs it after the Re load, thanks,
Dave

I have not used the hibernate feature since WIN98.......lol

If that is the catalyst then I say don't allow it to go into hibernation, and just do as you stated about powering off the monitor.....

Well it did not make a difference as its blue screening during surfing , with riffworks running in the backround. Its doing it more often ..takes several restarts to get some time in on the software.

Finally some good operation of Pod Farm w/h Riffworks....Flashed the Bios (manafactuers download) and removed extra programs that share IRQs.

So I am actually getting the great product working, and its running darn good.

Before the Instant drummer was blue screening in middle of jam or playback, So I hope its over now ... been 3-4 days on solid ground..machine starting up , and going into windows OK . What a relief..
