Yo! What happened to the info button? I can't make any fades on the fly. I must admit I like the grid that shows eighth note section but if I want to fade or cut something out that falls in an odd portion of the beat it won't happen. You're killing me!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Love Bill

I think it depends on how long the riff is.

Yeah, I've always asked myself why sometimes the info button shows the entire wav outline and sometimes those 1/8 or whatever columns. You think it depends on the lenghth of a riff?

Most definately! 8 bars in 4/4 gives you a smooth line. Anything smaller I believe you will see individual sliders. I like the sliders, easier to control.

I think it is more random than that.. I went into a tune the other day and it was bars went back in later and it was normal.. so it is kinda confusing.

I've never seen it switch like you're describing. GuitarSlinger described how it's supposed to work. I'd love a screenshot showing something that conflicts with how it's supposed to work. Like a four bar riff without the sliders.

I'm alittle confused about the sliders mentioned. I am using the Line 6 version with the last update. Are the sliders mentioned supposed to be visible when the "info" button is on, on a riff? Mine just shows the transparent volume line that can be dragged down to lower the gain on a riff....is this what you guys are referring to? Pardon me if I'm totally of base here...

The type of line vs. sliders changes depending on the length of the riff. Four bar riffs and smaller have the sliders. Longer riffs have a variable line. :)

Yep.. I just did a check..first time I noticed it... but as a total noob, I have just started trying out smaller riffs to see what I can do about lead ins and such....interesting... I have to admit.. I will do some work to see if I could replicate the problem of certain things being unable to fade or cut out because of falling on a part where the sliders wont work. I'll have to see.. this could be a pain if so...even the smallest riff needs to be workable...

Back again...yeah.. this can be a problem in short riffs... if I want to take out a very precise moment..pick noise, buzz...you cant spike it down at that very precise moment.. it takes down the whole slider which is .. what.. an eighth? I'm guessing this may not pose a real disasterous thing.. just may have to try to stay in 4 bar work modes...or higher.. for fades.. I didnt have a problem fading out..its alittle choppy.. but I guess if I need to. I can just export all the riffs to LIVE and mix them there???
