Permissions Question

I would like to do a cover of Three Days Grace and collaborate on rifflink, however is that against the rifflink rules or the law for that matter? Would i have to write the record label as some suggest or just credit the band in the credits box?

credit the band when you post the song.
as far as i know, there is not much people can do to stop you from attempting to play a copyrighted tune, it's in the posting/presenting the tune.
