I downloaded the T4 software to check out the program tonight and was playing through my new Line 6 X3 Live pod. I am playing through headphones.

All of a sudden I can no longer hear the drum machine. I reboot my pod and Gearbox program because Line 6 tech support told me there is a known issue with the pod and the Gearbox program where you lose audio on mp3 playback and I should reboot when this occurs. So I reboot everything and it works again. And then suddenly it goes out again. So I reboot again, and this time I get about 10 minutes of audio and then it goes out again. When I say the audio goes out I mean the drums, the playback, everything except my bass.

Is this software NOT compatible with the X3 Live pod? I am fairly unhappy at this point (mostly with my pod) and am wondering if I should just get the money back on the pod and skip purchasing this software.

On the other hand, is the T4 version different than the Riffworks Standard software? I see on the chart on the site here that there should be no problems.

Any help is appreciated.

I have the POD X3 and everything works properly, including gearbox. Try this for me... turn off your pod, restart the computer, set your sound card as your playback device and tell me if you get sound there.

Should I still use my headphones?

If it works without your pod plugged in, then it must be your Pod or gearbox. If it doesn't, it might be some drivers or software on your computer that need updating, etc.

I sent you an email. I do not see an option in the software to change the settings like that.
