Update doesn`t work

hello from germany,
i purchased RiffWorks Line 6 Edition a while ago but do not work
with it as there are update problems on "my" macintosh computer from the day i purchase riffworks.
when i start Line 6 Monkey i can see that there is an update for
riffworks. my riffworks version which is installed is 2.10 and there is an update to 2.22
after download is completed, i want to install but the installer always told me that there is a newer version already installed.
i wrote the same problem for another update to the support via mail but there was no solution.
i spent too much money for a software i cannot use.

Deleting existing version doesn't solve the problem either

Hi,

Sorry about the confusion. You need to first delete the RiffWorks installation receipt that's located in Macintosh HD/library/Receipts. Once that's done you'll be able to install the update.
