Finally I got the laptop working good after a flash bios, so I am up and running just fine with Pod farm and Riffworks T4.

The problem ?/ I really liked Gearbox esp for learning songs ,the ablilty to select a part of any song you import (MP3 or WMA) from CD or hard drive and loop that part or slow it down.

I miss these features in Pod farm-

I called line 6 they said stop using Gearbox ,it will cause conflicts. Use pod farm instead.
When I try to run gearbox (with pod farm closed) it doesnt get recognized and turn the green light on on my Toneport GX.

I dont want to screw things up as far as the Pod farm -riffworks ,NOW thats its finally working ...is it asking too much to use these programs seperately, and how can I make them both work without conflicts??
thanks .

I've found that if you open gearbox first, it works fine, but as soon as you open podfarm you get no sound of gearbox unless you reboot.
