RiffWorks Recording Software (Mac/Win)

I've got three questions. First I've been using Riffworks Standard for about a week and I started off with the T4 freeware. I still have T4 loaded.

Sometimes when I'm attempting to add a layer to a riff. Nothing happens or I'll get a message saying that someting unexpected occurred and it wants me to add it to a data dump. After I do that another message occurs and the program closes. If I say no and don't allow the dump to occur the program locks up and I can't close it.

Is it possible to take one layer out of a riff and paste it into another riff within the same song?

I recorded a layer that I liked that sounds fine on the playback as a loop but in the song it has two lone notes at the end of the layer. Can I edit the layer and remove the notes or do I have to record the layer over again?

Thank you all so much I really enjoy this software, I've been playing for a long time but could never do what I've done in this past week. Everyones music is inspirational for me. Thank you all so much.

Welcome mate, with regard to silencing your lone notes, click on the Info button on that layer and a wave file graphic will drop down, click and drag it down in the offending spots and it will reduce the volume in that area, down to 0 if needs be. You can get fades etc using the Info button once you get the hang of drawing the slopes :)
No-one remembers what you do or say. Everyone remembers how you made them feel. Allegedly !!!!

Thanks for the fast reply, I'll try the suggestion on the two offending notes. Sometimes when I'm playing in the heat of the moment I'll pull off a really decent riff and I have no clue how I did it. So Its difficult sometimes for me to copy myself if that makes sense. Its a wonder I can get close to covering other tunes.

Best regards
