It was a smashing success...............Rick (the Tongue) Andrews flew in Thursday and was promptly picked up at Orlando airport before he could hit on too many women or was it the other way around? hmmmm ;)

A "wild" Gator showed up on Friday afternoon and drank a lot and I mean a LOT of beer!

Strat Dave drove in from Clearwater with so much gear it looked like the car from the Beverly Hillbillies ;)

A "highlander" Scott showed up with his missus and had a load of laughs and played every guitar he could get ahold of......no Paul Stanley makeup on though :D

Bill had back to back BBQ's Friday and Saturday and hosted the whole shindig putting up with myself and Rickety Thursday thru Monday morning.........great job Uncle Bill you are the coolest!

Me Mickey showed up with an SUV loaded more then Strats so I shouldn't josh him too much...........and promptly began to annihilate what Bill thought was his beer! :D

A "new" Junkie, Crow (unstrung13) was brought into the fold .........

2 protege Junkies Jack and Sam jammed with the big dawgs.....

Everyone had a LOT of fun, played a lot of guitar, ate a lot of BBQ, and drank a LOT of beer.....well maybe not Jack & Sam unless they nicked a bit when no one was looking. ;)

And a big thanks to Sonoma for making this happen and for the offer to send us a keg of beer...MMMMmmmm beer!................it wouldn't have been possible without you guys and a girl.. :)

Dang Les - Boogies, Marshalls, and is that a double-cut 'Paul? Sweet!

I wish I could have made the Junkie convention, looks like it was lots of fun. Gonna try my best to make the next one.

isn't that a 335s?....those were the 'les' popular of the Firebrand series... a very underrated guitar actually but most of the Firebrand were considered similar to the S1 and Sonixs of the day...not a 'real' Gibson. It reminds me.. I need one of those. before they get insanely expensive.
