Oh you unashamed floor covering slut!!
You'll be wanting the pantone code for the paint colour next?!

Ed,
Could you also perhaps move the pedals and the amp so that they line up with the pattern on the carpet? My OCD/anal side goes all a-quiver when I see such perpendiculars not being used properly!
Cheers!
Scott

I wouldn't call myself a floor covering slut - but I call it as I see it, and Ed has nice carpet.

hmm, gears & sluts and then gear sluts?

I don't think it's gonna be long when they come up with some "REHAB for GAS" junkies, the way economies are going globally and we poor fellas just can't resist the urges.

We likely are of the most optimistic lot, we always look forward for tomorrow(i.e for saving) and use the today for little toys and stuff here and there y'know doesn't harm anyone .. u'mm i think i want that .. umm damn i need that to sleep.. .. wtf i can't have what i want when i need .... ok deal wont buy any stuff for a year now after this... umm maybe 6 months ... mm maybe 3 months ... well it depends .. y'know...there are things and then there are Things ..see it already been 2 weeks .. i been a good boy and am workin' on it . right?? .. sure ... takes time y'know..................................................
.......................same story goes on for decades..............

Don't you think some of us are blesseed /cursed and neither can undo that nor admit to the ultimate truth that there are "sluts with gears" ... ;)

Funny them trying to make a Parker look like a Tele. I hear Parkers are supposed to be really great guitars, and I can't deny that as I've never played one, but to me they look like some kind of tool I'd use out in the yard to dig a flower bed. :D

I'm hereby officially proud to be the cause of a 4 pages long thread :-)

Regarding the recent posts about the Tele-parker. I believe Ted Parker actually sold his company a couple of years ago so you should expect these kind of Fender sell-outs to happen ... "associate the design of your whatever-guitar-brand to a Tele or a Strat and you will probably sell more of them" .. what does that tell us about the buyers ... ?

That they appreciate classic styling and guitars that have proven themselves over time. ;)

I bought a Strat, didn't like it because it had a Bigsby?? wammy bar and if I broke a string the whole thing went completely to pot, (Not good news on stage for a 4 piece consisting of Vocals, Bass, Drums and 1 Guitar) swapped it for a Tele Deluxe which I immediately fell in love with. It's the one I have now and I've had it nearly 40 years, never contemplated buying another electric guitar until I bought my Variax 600 to use for recording through my Pod Xt Live or UX2 using the one and only RiffWorks :)

Happy New Year to one and all

Uncle Great Grandad Bill

P.S. I love the Variax because it feels like my Tele, maybe the neck was copied from one of them old Fenders ;)
No-one remembers what you do or say. Everyone remembers how you made them feel. Allegedly !!!!

After reading these posts of the weird space age looking Parkers I had a look at them online. They are a bit strange looking, but I Like It!!!! Sh*t....if they play as nice as everyone says, a Parker just may be my next guitar!
Nothing can look stranger than the headless/bodyless Yamaha bass I used to have! Damn that was ugly!lol
