I need some help with this guys. I've downloaded the demo, but the levels are really low. It's always been teh case when ever I try any of the Amplitube stuff which is why I never use it, but I really want to give this a try. I using a guitarport, guitar straight in. M-Audio Bx5a on teh speaker out of the guitar port and the USB connected. It all worls fine with Greabox/Podfarm. But when I switch the hardware off and select the Amplitube the volume drops to next to nothing. The input meters on the Amplitube hardly move at all (slight green), but the output peaks. I can get more volume by turning up the guitarport knob, but that also raises the volume of the track as well. Any suggestions?

Gotta say though, when I do turn it up and just play with the sounds, it is awesome. If I can get this levels thing sorted I am very tempted. I mean mad as it sounds I'm sure I can smell those valves cooking. That lovely warm smell you only get from an old valve amp...and no I am not on drugs.....

Levels are strange in Amplitube! I've never liked their gain staging. There's no real method to the madness that I can see. Try turning up the input gain inside the software. Also, I think there is a new +6db boost on input in Amplitube Fender (somewhere). Otherwise, crank that guitar port to 11 :D

Here's an interesting discussion going on over at KVR about reactions (good and bad): http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=245259&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0&sid=b36e7587e585f7aa896b5f7604e45ab3

Thanks Rich, I'll have to mess around. I only been playing with the presets, but I can't believe that haven't put reverb in the rack; how mad is that. I almost never put reverb before the amp....?

I hate Amplitube....can never get their stuff to sync right....the tones are cool....but the latency and crap just puts me off....why cant it just be simple like L6 stuff???? :(

I fell in love with the fender reverb instantly. It kills line 6 reverb!

I love both IK and line 6 equally. I use the line 6 gate for amplitube
