i bought one awhile back and haven't messed with it much. i was wondering if anyone has one?

i haven't dloaded any tones from the site they suggest, i keep forgetting about it.

this thing any good? i was getting alot of static noise from my amp with it.

there are "band rooms" here that you can rent and they have some cool stuff, mostly beater quality.
the one my friend took me to, had 3 marshalls and a washburn, keyboard, drum kit, mics, bass and 300w bass amp. plus you can record for xtra $. available 24/7

pretty cool, big, couches. didn't know about these.

anyway, thats why i picked one up.

I've got one...I keep it upstairs away from my equip. just for times when I want to grab a guitar and start playing. I haven't run it through an amp yet, I've been using it with headphones. The sound quality is fair, good in a pinch. It's also nice if you're going out of town and taking a guitar; just pop it in your case and go. There was a slight learning curve with getting the menu tree down though.

I've got one too, and yes, handling-wise it's not Gods gift to the working musician. The fact that you have to download a 3rd party software to your computer and hook it up with the Pod (didn't work for me - device not found) to manage its sound banks doesn't help either. Furthermore, I think that an effects processor that will eat up battery power in 4-5 hours should come with a power plug.

On the plus side, I do like the sound...

Got one. I use it from time to time at band practice when I'm running late and don't have time to set up the whole rig. I go straight into the sound board. Not really gig-worthy in the tone department, but maybe I could dial in some better tones.

For what it is, it's great. It's not as "real" as the standard POD though. Yea, it really chews through the batteries too.

Worth the 100 bones, thumbs up over all.
