wearing gear like that scott thats how !! LOL !! maybe the english should get tarted up like that and they may win something.this is to much to take in at the moment,im goin to take a deep breath !!

I suppose if the German team had 'minced' about like that in a World Cup match, the opposing teams would have been helpless with laughter, leaving someone to walk the ball over the goal line.

How on earth did you come across this video gem??
One should note, though, that this must be around 1975. The presenter is constantly explaining the shirt colors to "those viewers who are on black and white TV". The guy with the dark curls is introduced as a "color designer who normally paints houses and bridges" who came up with some "alternative designs" for Bundesliga teams.
The guy with blonde hair is one of Germany's major football legends, Günter Netzer, and his ultimate statement is that he's "very much for more colors in stadiums as a service to the audience". Boy, what a service that would have been
