yep, this doesnt happen on keyboard for me anymore, cause my experiance with trance is massive compared to guitar playing. So Im out of melodies for a good while now. this sucks...

A bit of writer's block you mean?? I go through periods where everything I do sounds the same to me...one idea gets stuck in my head and comes out 10 different ways.

Argh! Frustrating!

Go on rifflink and jam with people... maybe that will get you out of writer's block... it works for me!

Better yet, go out and find some people to jam with in your town. You always learn something from playing with new people, and even if you don't get over the writer's block, at least you won't be sitting around the house stewing over the fact that you're unable to write anything you like at the moment.
