I'm going to repost this in the "green room" to see if anybody would mind helping out...

Hi, small favor to ask of any German Riffworks users. My band Ordinary Mile made a CD with Riffworks (Titled New Horizons) I have been informed that we were reviewed in a German Magazine called "Rock Hard" http://www.rockhard.de/ It was in issue #262 March. I was wondering if one of the German users would purchase the magazine and send me a copy. I would be willing to pay you 40USD (for your time and postage) The site is completely in German (and for some reason does not take US credit cards). I would pay you by paypal upon your agreement. Any help would be appreciated. We are really curious to see what was printed about us I would also ask for a brief summory of what was said. (feel free to lie if it was a bad review ;). Anyhow anybody intrested in helping contact me at Mkolak31@yahoo.com

Thanks

Clicking on that link throws up this error Marty, I was gonna see if they would accept my English credit card, have it sent to my old address in UK (we have redirected mail straight to Florida) then send it on to you in Michigan from here FOC mate :(

Fatal error: Call to a member function GetRowAssoc() on a non-object in /var/www/www/htdocs/modulog/modules/modulogAPI/modulogAPI.class.php on line 63

See if you can suss that link out and I'll have another try, unless one of our German friends helps you out mate :)
No-one remembers what you do or say. Everyone remembers how you made them feel. Allegedly !!!!

Oh, it worked this morning...bummer wonder what happen..I'll have to look at the link I posted...Thanks for any help though. Maybe it's down for maintenance. I was just on there trying to use bablefish to read the site. I would have never know about the review but one of the people who bought the CD from (CDbaby.com DE) informed me about the review...I gotta be up at 5am for work so I'm off for now...

Thanks again...

Thanks lol, it's ok....we are working hard on the 3rd Cd. trying to step it up a bit...I hope you will like that one too...I've been kinda a ghost as of late but I'm still plugging away ;). I still record the guitars in RW but I use Cuebase for the drums and mixing / mastering.

I should also let you know I hope to have some more REX2 files up on the new site. I just need to recycle them...with the baby, work (day shift) and the band I have been pressed for time...

Marty, You may have tried this, but click on International and some English text comes up about the site. There is an email address they give and it might be worth contacting them to see if they could authorise payment some way. Like Bill I'd be happy to try and do it for you from here in the uK, but I can't make any sense of the site or how to order...My German only extends to ordering beer.....:)

Hey Marty, my wife has tons of German relatives that we keep in contact with. If nobody else does it, I'm sure I could get it done. I know there are some regulars that could probably do it quicker.

...as you've probably googled yourself, the review doesn't show up on the Rock Hard website or anywhere else. I'll check at the newsstand on my way to work if they still hold the March copy!

Thanks for looking, we were just curious. let me know if you find it I'll paypal you the money...I used bablefish to translate their site..it would not take my credit card In the back issue section of Hard rocks web site. So far you and guitarslinger seem like my only hope. If I can't get it, no big deal...You know how it is, always nice to see if any of your hard work is appreciated. I'm just happy it helped us sell some CD's and I even got a few nice e-mails... (one person tipped me off that is was a small but positive review). Maybe on my next days off I'll make some more REX2 files and post them if anybody wants more...let me know...least I can do...

P.S. I googled myself and found a bad review...that was kinda funney though ;)

They have a back issue section on there web page if your in-laws wanna order it for me I'll pay them 45USD. (I think the issue is less then 6EU) of course I'd pay them in advance... It's issue #262 March. Again if it's to much trouble no worries...
