I heard a rumor that a few beer drinkers frequent The Green Room. Therefore, in case there is any truth to said rumor, I offer this link to wet your appetites. :)

I saw this documentary about these monkeys that waited till this fruit on a certain tree had ripened past the point of fermentation. Once a year these monkeys would show up at this tree, eat a ton of these fruits and get smashed out of their minds, stumbling and falling all over themselves. It was a great example of how partying started... It goes farther back than we think.

Something about a bunch of drunk monkeys is really entertaining. Then, just as you would expect, the next day they were all laying around hurtin. You totally tell they were hung to the gills.

Ah heck, it's time for a beer...

I wonder if this guy Percival got his PHD on this thesis he wrote on the history of beer. Dr. Beer does have a nice ring to it. Hell that could be a song. :)

You should be able to search for beer in the forums and find a thread that has pretty much a riffworks visual history of beer. Several photos were doctored, I mean, procured to create this visual history.
"I think the problem might have been, that there was a stonehenge monument on stage in danger of being crushed, by a dwarf". "I really think you're making a big thing out of this". "Making a big thing out of it would have been a good idea".
