Too bad team Sonoma has to spend time on this, it takes time away from working on the Rifflink upgrades!

Yes Wedge, you are on the right track. First Jo Jo gave Mr. H. a shout and wrote him, he is a swindler and shouted themself. Little later he becam a shout from me and I wrote him he should stop his dirty play. Without the other musicians he can nothing.
Jo Jo and me know why we wrote this. We played for him.
Next day the song was deleted.

As a computer geek myself I can tell you no matter how unfortunate it is it is very very easy to crack passwords with the right software... I recomend sonoma uses encription and that passwords are 8 characters or more. Sorry troy you are haveing so much trouble... If I can help in anyway let me know. I would be very happy to nuke the bastards... Sonoma I think it is time for some beefed up encription software..

Hi everybody,

First of all: I cannot understand why somebody should cheat this place where people just want to have fun making music with friends around the world. If it is so and the person might be betraing, it must be a very bad person and we all should take more care of our personal data und our credit dard bills!

I guess we have 2 Problems. One is the security - should be solved by sonoma. They also van check if there where server-sided problems related to the suspicion.

On the other side we as a community have a credibility-problem which the community should solve in a way democracies do. First of all we should try to see clear.

By the way: I also did play some tunes for H. - and I wondered about some things. And I also wondered about server-problems. But I do not have any evidence of H. Doing something illegal.

Maybe we should ask him in person? And please sonoma help us seeing clearer.

I hope we all can stay happy and play some hot music together without being too supicious...

Wtf,
sorry for swearing guys but it gave me a bad taste of things.

Getting your emails accounts accessed & stuff deleted is a very serious issue (if i understood janmueller's post correctly) (the chart toppers, top position/shouts issues etc are really very minor compared to having your personal information compromised), and perhaps beyond SW control too.

My advise to all (for your own peace of mind) will be
Do change your passwords asap if you haven't already and keep your SW passwords different than any other you use for your personal stuff.

and SW guys, if possible change the RW rifflink links so that the user password does not show up in url or is atleast encrypted.

This is a very major security risk, if it's not possible to be changed, leave a notice for all users to have a different password for SW website & rifflink than what they use for their personal stuff like emails so they at least know. Many people tend to keep same passwords everywhere and get affected by malicious activities. If possible in near future have the logins etc over SSL too.

and to the person committing all this - there's enough hatred and bleep goin' on everywhere in world already that can do just as fine even without your contribution, just spare the musicians and apply/use your skills elsewhere. (you just might get to sleep better).
I Am A Man of Few Words Ironically Understandable by the Select Few, hence more often than not I have to Come out of my Manhood to do the obvious. Now Ain't it a cruel world?
