Cool thanks.

I made that mistake....It's actually SUNS of the Empire...

Sons of the Empire are a London indie band...

Rick It's not unheard of for a support band to not get paid (to not get fed is ridiculous). When I was touring (a long time ago!!!), support acts used to pay (well the record companies did) the main act to be on the tour...I still have friends in the business who work for Live Nation and they tell me it still happens today. But you need to get this sorted up front. Don't let then screw you for your talent, you are worth more than that...

"Music and Money", that's a sad story... recently, the band of a friend of mine played a gig with some not really well-known bands. In order to be allowed on that concert's lineup - in a small down-and-out club, mind you! - they asked him to a) sell 50 tickets or b) come up with 50 tickets' worth himself. That, indeed, means not only not being paid, but pay yourself to be on stage!

Still, I'm thrilled to hear that you're on the Stairway to Heaven, Rick! Once you've climbed Rock'n'Roll Olympus, don't forget us lowlies down here :)
