As much as Prince is a wacko, he is EXTREMELY underrated as a guitarist.

I kinda like his style. It would be cool to hear a guitar-rock album from him.

I just think he needs to shut up more and play guitar! ;)

Whenever I would see Prince on stage I would ask myself, "this guy can actually play guitar quite well, why does he insist on running around the stage dressed like.........well, I don't even know what, cooing like a little girl?"

Unbelieveable showman he is. I love it when stars do that kinda stuff like hand that guy in the audiance his guitar. Cool. Would have loved it if it was Pooter sitting there that he handed it to. What would you have done a little BACK AT YA Prince licks :D Everyone would have gone nuts at the Leno show. hahah

Trying to remember which Rifflink Junkie I was chatting with that went to high school with him in Minn?

Never would I have been caught dead listening to him when i was younger and the first time I heard of him was the Purple Rain album. I was totally into metal back then, but as time went by I learned how talented he is and can appreciate his work all the more. I recently bought his latest album just out of respect for this guy and cause he brought the guitar out more on this album. He is truely a talented musician and if he would have started his career as a rock/guitar player, I have no doubt they would have labeled him the modern day Jimmy Hendrix.
