I was listening to Riffcasts yesterday and again this morning and I continue to be amazed at the plethora of talent that I hear. It made me stop and think about the last time I paid real money for professionally produced music. I think my last purchase was a CD (you do remember what CD's are) by contemporary Christian artist Casting Crowns. That has been several years ago. The talent and music being recorded and posted to RiffWorld rivals that of many professionals and I am so thankful to be a part of that. Let your star shine! You all are a blessing to me.

You know you are totally right. The talent that is coming out of here is amazing. This site really did blow up over the last couple of years. Kudos to all the staff at Sonoma.
Just saying.......

I use ITunes now to buy all my music ala carte. The last song I purchased was by NIN.

I would buy the Johnny Cash Anthology if and when it comes out. I borrowed the newest Eagles album (a double) and it is pretty good.

:)

Last one was Eagles - Long road out of Eden

The one before that was Chris Rea - Dancin' down the Stony Road
No-one remembers what you do or say. Everyone remembers how you made them feel. Allegedly !!!!

The last CD I bought was probably sometime last year, Junior Brown - Down Home Chrome. Not as good as his earlier stuff, but a nice addition to the collection. Junior kicks azz.
Normally I buy mp3s from Lavamus dot com. 13 cents per track, and no DRM. I think about the $300+ I spent buying from iTunes at .99 a pop and cringe. The last track I downloaded was "Hank the Knife" by Guitar King. Some obscure tune I heard on Little Steven's Underground Garage.

My last physical CD purchase was The Eagles Live. I use iTunes almost all the time now. Last online purchase was "Stop The Clocks" by Oasis, "Revelation" by Journey and "21st Century Breakdown" by Green Day.

My next one will be the new KISS album!! :D
Cheers!

The last CD I bought was Disturbed Believe in 02'

I've been listening to Sirius satelite radio for the last couple of years. I get decent mix of artists and songs for about $10 a month. For everything else I've been recording from youtube using Audacity.
