SampleTank supports Rewire?
SampleTank supports Rewire?
According to support, you'd have to run SampleTank IN something that supports Virtual Instruments/VSTi then Rewire that. I know, I wish it would just be able to open up directly ![]()
Group buy reached 2500 users! So it is now officially 5X1.
New goal has been set. Need a total of 4000 users for 6X1!
Let's do it!

Well, I thought I'd give it a go. So far I've picked the Vintage Drums, and the World Instruments, still trying to decide the rest. I really wish there was some Metal packs in there. I'll probably go for the Blues Drums, and may a synth. Not sure.
It really sucks that you need re-wire, I haven't really figured that out yet. There's a good chance I'll never use it because of that........
I haven't tried it yet but I hope a dumbass like me can figure it out!lol
A step by step procedure to set up rewire would help me a great deal. Due to my lack of skills, I'm pretty lame when it comes to figuring out little more than plugging the guitar in.

I would love to see step by step instructions for setting that up.
Does anyone use a free DAW (audacity etc.) for rewire?

Come on 711...Gator needs a new pair of samples! ![]()
I think I'm gonna jump on this train. Don't know how to use it, but thankfully for dummies like me, we have cool riffworld brothers to help us figure things out!
One question, the weblink stated you could "join" twice.... so I could purchase 2 @ $49.99 each and get 10 of 'em? wow!
FROM THE SITE:
1. Buy your FIRST title for only €39.99/$49.99* and immediately receive 4 MORE titles of your choice FREE!
2. Download the New Fully Xpandable SampleTank 2.5 XT with 1GB of sounds ABSOLUTELY FREE!
3. The more users join this Group Buy, the more Xpansion Tank 2 titles you will get!
4. And YES you can join more than once!
sounds like a killer deal!
I've been using SampleTank through Reaper's ReRoute feature and it works beautifully for me. This allows me to load it up in Reaper and record into Riffworks (from Reaper). Riffworks sees the ReRoute outputs from Reaper just like an audio interface (such as the Line 6 TonePort) and records whatever you play; as you play it. It took some doin' to set it up though. Amit (creator of "IntelliRiffer") helped me by sending a template with instructions. If anyone here is using Reaper and wants help making these two work together, send me a message.
I'm curious if any of you have found other ways to record VSTi instruments (like SampleTank) into Riffworks?
R
Yep, Sample Tank with Asio4all routed out through my PC Line Output then into Line Inputs on UX2 into Riffworks via Gearbox. No midi interaction of course ![]()
Currently 5X1 with 3707 users. Need 293 more users for 6X1! Almost there!
BBC
Yes! 293 and then 1 more for me. ![]()
270 and 10 days to go!
Hey guys, I put together a quick jam using Downtempo Electronica, World Instruments, and Bass Collection 2. I'm playing a G&L guitar through Amplitube3 for the guitar parts. There are some issues with the mix (I know) but hopefully this will give you an example of how these sound in context:
Lots o' good stuff here. Opens many doors for us guitarists in need of fresh tones
With some of these, I found myself wishing the resolution and quality were higher. I noticed this particularly with the World Instruments. There are some REALLY beautiful instruments here but sampled with a bit too much air IMO. However, these samples layer VERY well
It's still an AMAZING deal to get turned on to all of these great sounds for such little $ ![]()
Cool stuff Rich!
So good to hear your music again my friend!

Sounding excellent Rich. Killer guit-fiddle tones as well. ![]()
So does RW link to this Sample Tank thing, without any additional software? I just do it through the Rewire facility in RW is that right?

Nope you need to read this thread and pick up on what Rich and I have said Colin.
Ok guys...it just hit 6x1 so that means 6 Xpansion Tank 2 Libraries (sound packs) PLUS SampleTank XT (including 1GB of sounds) for $50! Are you kidding me?! I paid over $200 for SampleTank when I bought it 2 years ago. This is a GREAT GREAT deal and you've got only ONE week left to jump in....
Now 6X1! Currently at 4106 users. Need 894 users for 7X1!
