Gauge Microphones - gotta check this out!

I came across this through word of mouth.  This company is fairly new.  From what I understand they have a $150 mic (the ecm 87) and it's on par with much more expensive mic's.  They have a comparison page which I found pretty persuasive.

The company is owned by this guy ROB CHIARELLI who I saw some interviews with. Big name producer/engineer.

Think I'm gonna pick up one of these mic's after hearing there comparison page.  Any one of 'em.  The damn $500 ecm-47 was comparable to the u-47 and u-67 so you know it's a winner.  I've worked with those Neumann mic's extensively so I can tell you it is honestly very close to the real deal!  Don't have the 500 bones to throw down, but so tempted to be stupid.
