it's all good! lostydude! i really wasn't offended, just puzzled! but i reread your reply this after noon when i got home and felt like an *sshole. sometimes i 'm to defensive.
but i was just trying to make a point that without riffworld, i would be playing for myself.
which isn't bad but evryone knows it's better to get feedback and competiton,thats what makes us better. the rockstars have other bands and record companies to force them to better themselves. thats kinda hard to do when people like me are just playing to play, with no reference point! or goals. as for beating myself up, if thats the way i sounded then i didn't mean to. i had a signed scholarship to the art institute of seattle, you see i'm really an oregon boy! but i pissed it away to party and pretend i was a rockstar, when really i was killing the only future i had at the time! i do regret my choices,but i leaRNED FROM THEM AND IT MADE THE MAN I AM TODAY, now i know first hand why it's impotant to follow thru! the truth is if had been a rockstar back then, i would probably be another statistic in the gutter or worse! i love guitars, i mean i really really love them. actually i'm a way better guitar-tech then i am a player. two of those guitars in my profile i built with my own two hands. but thats a me thing! i'm really not bragging. truth is i love this website too! i know i'm not as involved as a lot of other people but thats mainly cause i don't really know how use rifflink like other people, and i stay busy like i said 7 days week 365 days a year, thats a big downer but like i also said it pays very well! any way i'm rambling again, i do that cause i live in the middle of nowhwere and never have anyone to talk to but my wife, whom i love! well lostydude this is actually how friends are made, whether it be apositive or negative link,usually then end result is the same,friends are we! peace,love,prosparity, blues,deathmetal,rock,country it's all music and thats what we are here for! take care!
