Topic: Rumble 16 When will it happen

G'day

I'm an Aussie and I've been messin with this line 6 gear for a while now. I'm a novice
with everything but I have been following Riff Rumble for a fear few months and I have made a tune that I think displays the best of my guitar and mastering abilities using the riffworks software. The problem is every time i want to enter, the theme of the rumble does not suit my song. I'm curious when will the next rumble be taking entries and what will the theme be? Please let it be something simple instead of a crowd pleaser attitude
regarding the overall population and holidays and general BS. Can't it be something simple like one or two words to inspire like ACID or Half filled or Half empty Glass or something random to promote energy and creation in the community?

One more point to note why does everything have a price tag on it? the software is great, but haven't i forked out enough for the hardware and now i have to keep dishin out for drum samples, mate I'm better off going and buying an MPC from AKAI and have the freedom of creating my own beats. Come to think of it i want my money back for the Matt sorum drum samples they are bleep and some other no name samples, you can't even play them without room ambience they are crud, I guess you will pass the buck on to them because they are sub contractors to you guys i don't know, what ever.

End state when is the next rumble and what is the theme????????

       Smik dont know when the next rumble is but I just change the title of a tune to fit the theme,so it dont matter to me what the theme is i just post whatever tune I have finished at the time if its a good tune  people will listen and give there opinion anyway cheers,
as far as the drums go you can make your own and import them ,or use rex files I dont as I am happy to pay a small price for them as I do not have enough time to make up drum files .

We'll have a new RiffRumble sometime after the new RiffWorld back-end has been updated. Only about 3 out of the 15 Rumbles have been themed. The last one wasn't themed.  We've thought about expanding our themes - we'll probably keep coming up with new ones as well as continue to have non-themed ones. Thanks for your suggestions!

Ah c'mon, "everything" doesn't have a price tag on it with RiffWorks wink. There's a lot of stuff you can do for free - it comes with several free sessions, there are a lot of free Rex files out there you can use with it, RiffWorld is free, and online collaboration is free at the moment, ... Also our store has a 30 day refund policy that applies to InstantDrummer sessions as long as it is not abused. If you don't like what you purchase, let support know within 30 days, and they'll refund your purchase and disable your downloads.

Yeah Look I may have jumped the gun a bit, I wasn't aware that there was such a small number of people running the rock show behind the scenes here, quite impressive actually, it's a professionally run organisation I've discovered. Most of my comments about the price tags stem from when I first used rifflink for free and then the next time I used it it said I needed to purchase a creators licence but that is now free which is awesome as it is a key feature to attract potential customers and practicing musicians like myself, well i shouldn't call myself a musician because i'm not its a hobby.

Look I wrote my initial post when i was on the cheap wine and life is hard atm money wise the only escape i have is music sometimes and it just sucked the thought of having to pay money for more stuff to get me where i needed to go. I have learned over the last week that the guys at this website do generally care about their members and are indeed here to help and make the sanoma riffworks experience the best it can be, so cheers sanaoma dudes.........Peace.
