First (anyone else see this forum all messed up?) the header menu options are white on white (some over light blue) can hardly see them. Then formatting puts things over other things. (like subect line is behind this window) and menus at the bottom are over lapped? REALLY hard to use it. (new post took me forever to find at the bottom? of the page).
I'm using IE 8 and doesn't help to click compatibility view.
ANYWAY managed to post a msg.. (homing in proper area).
I updated from line6 RW 2.2 to standard 2.5 and installed amplitube. (windows shows IK media/amplitube 2 live/ in there just a guide and licence. (I assume this is normal) but means it's installed.
Going into RW standard - I see no way to call up amplitube?
I tried toggling hardware off - rebooted still nothing. Where so I call it up/find it? I thought I saw a "AMP" button in the online videos. (amplitube guide) doesn't talk about RW.
help!?

Never mind - after a couple hours of trying and looking and re-installing - I found the effects at the bottom by hardware. I think the first time I tried it (I had hardware on) after I had toggled hardware monitoring on - it allowed me to click it and found amplitube. VERY impressed with the tones so far... (and I have lots o stuff - Line6 UX8, guitarPort, Roland VG-99 and the amplitube is pretty nice.
I like the interface too (THOUGH SMALL)
Is there a way to connect a foot control? (for like the wah?) midi maybe? and lets see what else...
Oh - Get an occational POP noise (prolly due to laptop performance) ?? (my faster desktop wouldn't probably do that) but if I'm down there - why bother - I have other gear (VG99 to use then) I like this because I can practice anywhere with laptop and headphones. But would be nice to eliminate the occationa SNAP pop noise.

For popping noise etc, I'd be looking at ram, 2gb is good, then Audio button on RW and increase asio buffer setting a bit

I adjusted buffers and reduced its frequency. But then latency was to much of a problem. The tones are really good - to bad about the short comings. I went back to the guitar port.
I can't get rifflink (Trial) to do much, it keeps disconnecting me (why is that?) I've never got a chance to chat with anyone or record anything. I can usually download the tracks and play them, but It keeps dumping me and saying "login". = (

rifflink is tough to stay signed in and sonoma has been working on it for some time now..... like a year...... it's just luck of the draw getting on there and staying on.
amplitube live - if you didn't already know, the trial version will pop/hiss every so often until the correct serial number and activation code are entered - but it will warn you when you first try to start up that it needs to be registered and you will hear noises every so often. if that is not the case, then what bill said!
hope that helps!

also check with your line6 setup - you may get a free upgrade to PodFarm if you don't already have it. about 6 months ago I was using GearBox and I saw that I could upgrade to PodFarm for free. GearBox is very cool but PodFarm is even cooler! I just used Amplitube Live for the first time and although I only used it a little bit, I prefer PodFarm anyday!
