Backups
From Guide
RiffWorks includes four diverse backup drummer options to accompany you while you record. You'll find these in the DRUMMER panel: InstantDrummer, Metronome, ReWire and REX Player. The settings for each backup are stored in each Riff. So every Riff can have different backup settings. All the backups are tempo synchronized. If you change the Tempo of a Riff, the backups will stay right in sync.

InstantDrummer™
InstantDrummer invites you to jam with great sounding drum tracks!
Pick a groove, count off a tempo, and InstantDrummer built into RiffWorks inspires you with its continuously varying drum tracks and fills using perfectly matched, full kit studio drum recordings.
Metronome
Keep tempo with the RiffWorks Metronome. Choose from a variety of sounds including several cow bells, block, hi hat, and electronic bass&bell. Use it alone, with the InstantDrummer or any combination of backups.
ReWire
Sync up RiffWorks to ReWire device applications like Propellerheads Reason, and other third-party audio programs.
RexPlayer
Use the RexPlayer to play any Propellerheads Recycle loops (.rex or .rx2) as backups for your Riffs.
