Input Gain

Controlling the input level of your instrument is important, but can only be done in RiffWorks if HARDWARE MONITORING is turned off. If HARDWARE MONITORING is turned on, then the input level should be controlled via your audio interface device, or via the interface's input software.

If HARDWARE MONITORING is turned off, control the input level using the INPUT GAIN knob. Adjust the input gain so that the input LEVELS lights never quite hit the CLIP indicator lights when your instrument is played aggressively.
