RiffWorks Line 6 Edition v2.2 Users Should Crossgrade To RiffWorks Standard v2.5
Important Notice: RiffWorks Line 6 Edition users are encouraged to upgrade/crossgrade to the more robust RiffWorks Standard v2.5 through sonomawireworks.com for the best deal by clicking here. RiffWorks Line 6 Edition has been discontinued.
What Was RiffWorks Line 6 Edition?
All editions of RiffWorks recording software are Sonoma Wire Works' products, including the recording software in the GuitarPort RiffTracker bundle, RiffWorks Line 6 Edition, and the most current and feature-loaded RiffWorks Standard. Line 6 distributed RiffWorks Line 6 Edition for Sonoma, and is now one of the distributors of Sonoma Wire Works' RiffWorks Standard. Line 6 has always been a great partner for Sonoma Wire Works!
The only difference between the RiffWorks Standard Download sold on Sonomawireworks.com and the RiffWorks Standard Download sold on Line6.com is that Sonomawireworks.com is bundling IK Multimedia's AmpliTube 2 Live VST Effects Plug-in for a limited time (value $99). Line 6 does not bundle IK's AmpliTube 2 Live.

RiffWorks Line 6 Edition (v2) was a special version of RiffWorks for Line 6 customers. It was identical to RiffWorks Standard except:
- RiffWorks Line 6 Edition (v2) was keyed to one Line 6 hardware device at a time, whereas RiffWorks Standard will work with many more ASIO and Core Audio Devices including those from Line 6.
- RiffWorks Line 6 Edition (v2) does not support the wide variety of plugin amp models like RiffWorks Standard does.
- RiffWorks Line 6 Edition (v2) does not bundle AmpliTube 2 Live.
