RIFFWORKS STANDARD 2.1 UPDATE AVAILABLE
We're excited to announce that the RiffWorks Standard 2.1 update is now available. Version 2.1 is a maintenance release with updates and changes that improve device support, registration, graphics, plug-in support and RiffLink online collaboration. You can read the release notes here.

RiffWorks Standard users can simply launch RiffWorks now to automatically receive an update alert dialog prompting the RiffWorks Standard V2_1.exe / pkg download.

Free swag: We're happy to announce that all RiffWorks Standard users now get IK Multimedia's AmpliTube 2 Live plugin to use with RiffWorks. Seriously cool! Also all RiffWorks Standard users get the new RAW Funk Grooves InstantDrummer session from Sonic Reality. Both of these freebies are already in your store account downloads area. So that's 9 free sessions now included with RiffWorks Standard (v2.1).

RIFFWORKS LINE 6 EDITION UPDATE AVAILABLE
RiffWorks Line 6 Edition has now been updated. To update, simply launch RiffWorks Line 6 Edition and follow the instructions. Line 6 Edition users do not receive AmpliTube 2 Live or the free InstantDrummer session, but they will be able to purchase RAW Funk Grooves in our store. The 2.1 release notes tell you what is going to be updated in the Line 6 Edition, like support for the TonePort DI and TonePort KB37.

NEW INSTANTDRUMMER SESSIONS AVAILABLE
Sonic Reality drum content is being made into InstantDrummer sessions! For over 10 years the team at Sonic Reality has been sampling, programming and developing sound libraries and software for sound companies, keyboard manufacturers and successful recording & performing artists. RAW Funk Grooves InstantDrummer session is now included for free with RiffWorks (v2). If you own v2, it's in the downloads area of your store account. RAW Global Beats and RAW Hard Rock sessions are also now available. Look for more content from Sonic Reality coming to our store soon.

Discrete Drums has loaded our store with 8 new InstantDrummer sessions. They're hot! Look for the new Discrete Drum InstantDrummer sessions in our store: Boom Boom, Earth Shaking 2, Half Trip, Head Trip, Killer 52, No Problem, Ocho and Smack.

Drummerheads has a new InstantDrummer session available for RiffWorks users called Brand Nu Metal II. The most popular InstantDrummer session is back with this better than the original sequel. Made exclusively for use with RiffWorks, this heavy metal drummer is what you've always dreamed of.

RIFFRUMBLE VI SONG CONTEST HAS BEGUN
The RiffRumble VI song contest began Febrary 14th. Contestants have 2 weeks to submit original songs recorded in RiffWorks. Voting will be February 28th - March 16th. Come on into the ring all you prizefighters!

Version 2 or later of RiffWorks Standard or RiffWorks Line 6 Edition is required to participate.

RIFFCASTER & RIFFLINK PICKS OF THE MONTH
Don't forget, you can now embed RiffCaster players (like the one at right) into your web site. Simply copy the embed code located in your song listing on RiffCaster. Make sure to "Select All" as there are several lines of code. Include this code in the HTML of your web page or on your MySpace page.

Also the RiffCaster Demo Station has been improved. RiffWorks Demo allows users to post to the demo station only. When they purchase the full version, they'll be able to post to any RiffCaster station. Check out the songs Demo users have created - they would appreciate your comments.
