Sonoma Wire Works was founded on 03/03/03 in Sonoma County, California. RiffWorks launched in 2004 for Line 6 customers.
In 2006 RiffWorks Standard was launched for a wider variety of audio interfaces and MacOS, and IK Multimedia became RiffWorks Standard's worldwide distributor.
Through the years, Sonoma has made many friends in addition to IK and Line 6: 5 top drum content companies bring driving beats to RiffWorks users. PreSonus bundled RiffWorks with their devices. Scheme Design continues to make the RiffWorks experience better by working on RiffWorld.com.
Sonoma is grateful to have such distinguished partners and 25,000 rockin' users! RiffWorks has become the best song creation, collaboration and casting environment, and has attracted tremendously talented and friendly musicians. Here's to being 5!
Thanks for the birthday songs to Sonoma this month:
Congratulations to the three winners of RiffRumble VIII. Thanks to all who entered! The songs were amazing.
"Six to Nine" by Jim (pooterpatty) was chosen by Taylor Guitars as their favorite song entry, so he won the Taylor Standard SolidBody Electric Guitar! Listen to songs he's been playing with his "trophy" here.
Doug Metzger received the most votes from fellow competitors for his song "Butcher from the Black Sea". Bill (Coul10) received the most votes from the public for his song "To See Another Day".
Professional musicians talk about the benefits of using RiffWorks. Look for Michael Elsner from Chasing Saints (pictured left), Alex Adhami from Kitaro and the Oprah Winfrey Show, and Mike Campese from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
