SWW: How did you start working for Sonoma Wire Works? |
SWW: What do you do here at Sonoma Wire Works?
Peter: I'm in charge of operations. There are the geniuses that make the software and code the website, but then there's the office to take care of as well. Alot of orders come in and it's my job to make sure the orders go out in a timely manner, to make sure that we're fully stocked, and also to make the coffee. (laughs)
SWW: In addition to your operations duties, you're also the face of Sonoma Wire Works in our video newsletters. Do you enjoy being in front of the camera and showing off the new products?
Peter: It's fun! It's something that I've done before. It's easy to get excited about the software because it's so cool. Even though I'm not into music production, it's awesome to see what goes into the production of recorded music. I wasn't too familiar before, so it's neat to see the whole process.
SWW: What do you do in your free time?
Peter: I like to DJ. Some of what I do here is along those lines. The line between work and play is sometimes blurred here which is great. Some people are able to do what they love to do for work, and I feel like I'm doing that here.
SWW: You got to attend Winter NAMM this year, how was that?
Peter: It was awesome! Not what I expected... I didn't really know what to expect to be honest. I thought it would be all people involved in making music products, so I wasn't expecting all the artists to be there. It was really neat to see all those people together, people from every step in the chain of music making.
SWW: Where can our users learn more about you?
Peter: I have several videos up on my YouTube page. I used to make news videos which are a bit outdated now, but you can see a bit of my personality in them.
