Sebastopol, CA -- May 19, 2005 -- Sonoma Wire Works, developers of cutting-edge user interface design and software for the next generation of music products, announced today the the launch of Sonoma Wire Works RiffCaster™ internet broadcast service for RiffWorks™ users. RiffWorks, included with Line 6 GuitarPort RiffTracker™, is a popular, easy to use guitar recording application. RiffWorks users are creating awesome content that they want to share. Uploading files to RiffCaster is a great way to post songs and obtain technical and creative feedback from the enthusiastic RiffWorks community. File storage is free, the RiffCaster system is a breeze to use, and there is plenty of room for content.

To celebrate the launch of RiffCaster, Sonoma Wire Works and Line 6 announce RiffRumble™, an online battle of riffs for all Line 6 GuitarPort RiffTracker users. Players submit original songs from May 20 through June 3. June 4 through June 13 the public can listen to submissions and vote for their favorite by adding positive comments with the 'cheer' link. The player who receives the most positive cheers will win hundreds of dollars in prizes including InstantDrummer™ files and Amp Models from Line 6. The RiffRumble contest winner will be announced June 15, 2005.
