Discrete Percussion Stereo Set

Eric Darken, Nashville's premiere percussionist, has a unique vision and compelling natural instincts when it comes to rhythms. His vast percussion collection contains traditional and bizarre elements. On these discs you will find tambourine and toilet seat, shakers and sea shells, berimbaw and brief case, copper bongo and curtain rod, ewe drum and egg carton, log drum and laundry basket, just to name a few. In addition to Eric's tracks, each loop contains a drum machine track to create a unique blend of human and mechanical feels. Contains 40 loops, 890 tracks, 102 percussion instruments, and 497 samples of different hits and velocities for maximum expression and realism. All percussion tracks are included individually, and all loops feature several pre-mixed versions for convenience. Mixes include: full mix dry, full mix with effects (simple delays and reverbs) full mix dry with drum machine, and full mix with effects and drum machine. Loops also feature actual endings!

Rick DiFonzo, Producer, Engineer, Discrete Drums Co-founder
"I come from a rock background, having played guitar on and/or toured with Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan, Roger Waters, Belinda Carlisle, Joan Osborn, Cyndi Lauper and others. Discrete Drums grew from my need for rocking drums that I could mix myself. I planned a drum library with a multitrack format, as no one else had done it. I knew lots of great drummers from my days as a session and touring guitarist, and brought them into the studio. Now you can customize the sound of the drum kits recorded by great drummers, and add them to your tracks just the way you want." More About Rick DiFonzo
