CableJive dockXtender 30-pin Dock Extender Cable (2-foot)
Extend the distance between GuitarJack and your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch that has a 30-pin dock connector. Sonoma has tested this 2 foot premium 30-pin to 30-pin extender cable with GuitarJack and it works great. While there are advantages to using GuitarJack with no cable, some users like the distance that a cable solution provides while using GuitarJack, the best sounding solution with the most features.
CableJive's high quality dock extender cable is a 30-pin male to female extension that is compatible with all iPad, iPhone and iPod models. This 2 foot dockXtender cable is the newer version, which allows fitting inside narrow, rigid openings on cases like the Apple Bumper, Lifeproof, and Otterbox Defender. dockXtender passes all functionality through to your iPad, iPhone, or iPod.* Anything your iPod can do when directly attached to your accessory, can also be done when connected with the dockXtender. Listen to audio, watch video, record a memo, charge, sync, control your device, and more.
The dockXtender works with almost any iPod, iPad, or iPhone case on the market (see CableJive's FAQ for more info). That includes fitting inside narrow, rigid openings on cases like the Otterbox Defenderô. You no longer need to take the case off when docking your iPad, iPhone, or iPod whatever the case may be.
*The dockXtender is currently not compatible with the Apple VGA or Digital AV adapters.
This cable is also available in a 6-foot version on its own, the GuitarJack with dockXtender (2-foot) Bundle or the GuitarJack with dockXtender (6-foot) Bundle. This 2 foot version Sonoma currently has in stock is the newer dockXtender cable which does not require removal of cases like the Apple Bumper, Lifeproof, and Otterbox Defender.
