Qustion about Rewire and Reason

Hello.

I have the Line6 version of Riffworks and Reason 3.

When using Riffworks with Reason, is it possible to to have each RW riff be associated with a specific part of the currently open file in Reason?

In my first tests of this, I couldn't figure out a way to, for example, have Riff 1 be associated with, say, bars 1-8 of the Reason file, Riff 2 be associated with bars 9-16, etc.

Yes it is really simple actually. Play the riff you are looking to synch with the reason file. In Reason you have to adjust the L & R flags to start and end in the proper locations to correspond with the riffs.

For example, you may have a bass line recorded in Reason, that is 24 bars in length. 3 riffs that are each 8 bars in length. when each riff plays you want to make sure the start and end flags marked L& R are in the correct positions to synch them to play that portion of the bass line to accompany that riff.

Make sense? The P shows you where the part is being played. Just drag and drop them where they are required and everything will play back fine. Hope that helps, and makes sense.
