Collabs (None RW)

I've been asked to collab with songwriters and to lay guitar tracks over beats. Generally they have been none RW based.

Other than playing the track & holding a mic in front of my speaker, are there any formats that RW can import guest tracks ??

I think we will eventually put in a wave file backup or something like that, but for now we only support REX files. It sounds like such a simple feature to implement that we would have done it by now, but it is a complicated thing to get right. Since we don't allow you to move stuff around and physically edit the wave file, we need to come up with more clever ways to get everything in sync. RiffWorks like things to be in sync at the proper tempo with no offsets and it is rare to see a wave file that fits that requirement.

You could always load up the wave file in something like Live Lite and sync everything via ReWire.
